Do you guys eat breakfast before morning shifts? (self.starbucksbaristas)

I'm trying to get back into healthy habits after pigging out on cat pay but have always struggled with breakfast before work. I feel odd eating so early but by the time I get my ten it's 3-4 hours since I've woken up, and I'm starving. How do you all plan your meals around a morning shift?

Apple for energy and 3 shots straight espresso. 1st break I get reduced fat turkey bacon sammy and water. Meal I lay in grass and do nothing but rest and maybe make my special drink. When I leave I get extra burnt egg white bites and ice öatmilk dirty chai

I typically don't get opening shifts (I do have one next week though :,)) but I try to get something small in my stomach and eat more on my ten while drinking a lot of water throughout my shift if possible.

Every night before I go to bed I make myself overnight oats!! Oatmeal, coconut milk, almonds, cocoa powder, monkfruit sweetener! I leave it in the fridge then in the morning it takes me about 10 minutes to eat. Sometimes I also slice a banana in there! Its nice because it keeps me full until I get out of work. Sidenote though, I do this because unfortunately I can't any of the food from Starbucks due to dietary restrictions. Maybe you want to make your own oatmeal at work!

I actually tried this the other day! Not for before work but on my ten since I have some oatmilk that is expiring soon. I threw a spoonful of chia seeds and a little bit of jam in there for some flavor. Held me over for my 8 hour shift! Thanks!

I go to bed full/not hungry and drink a lot of water (\~1L) before my nitro to get me through the morning.

If I’m opening, I’ll either wait to eat until my first ten (three hours awake) or I’ll stop by the convenience mart on the way there to grab an egg sandwich. If I’m not leaving my house before we open, I’ll mobile order some food to scarf down before I clock in (egg bites are good for this).

Make iced coffee the night before, stick it in a to-go cup, and leave it in the fridge to grab on your way out so you have more time to sleep.

I like to eat a Luna (or Cliff) bar right before my shift starts. Something with protein and not too high in calories that keeps me from feeling like I'm starving before my first 10. Overnight oats are great instead if I'm hungrier than usual when I wake up.
