He first asked for something with Graham syrup, so we thought he meant graham cracker topping. Nope, it's a syrup so we told him we couldn't make that. Then he asked for orange sherbet Frappuccino with orange Valencia refresher in it. We're couldn't make that one either. Then he ordered a caramel brulee Frappuccino and we told him that was only around at Christmas and I think that one broke him. He asked, "well then, what DO you have!? 😡" to which I replied with all of our syrups, sauces and Frappuccino flavorings. He eventually ordered a strawberries and cream with vanilla bean and mocha and a s'mores frapp. I wish I could have been at the hand off window to explain to him why the secret menu is bullshit. He was genuinely pissed.

I mean if he was ordering a few years ago he’d be fine but I guess he doesn’t realize how quickly Starbucks changes its menu items and gets rid of ingredients

I always maliciously comply and read off everything on the syrup or frappuccino screen and they almost always just get caramel. I think I've only been complained about once in 3+ years

That was literally every day at my store during the first 30 day leave. Lines out into the main road & people causing accidents because they are trying to cut into the line. We had to put up a sign so people would go a certain way in our parking lot so the fed-ex store could still do their business. Towards the middle to end of the first 30 day leave my store was the only one open within my district. It was awful, insane, some customers were even worse then before because we would run out of stuff or cups, & literally just pure exhaustion at the end of a shift. It didn’t matter if it was a 3, 6, or 8 hour shift it was physically & mentally exhausting so I know exactly how you feel I had so many days like that and still do.
