That seems like a lot of work. Normally I'd just keep the mistickered cup beside the new cup and then once the drink was handed off, either reuse or throw out the extra cup.

During normal times, my store would have a line out the door and multiple projects on bar. So setting a cup to the side is a surefire way for it to get lost in the chaos.

This, and just quickly running some hot water in the cup on the sticker side helps it peel right off!
