Opening up cafes and then not supplying enough labor for a POS partner, THEN actually reducing labor. I cannot with starbucks right now.

My store (which is suppose to open June 2ish) is also suppose to have a greeter at the door for spacing and line control with these cut hours as well

We opened early with just curbside and reduced hours (whatever..) but then extended hours and now extended hours more AND allowing people in for grab n go. I don't know why we are operating similar way before covid when we don't have the same staff AND we need an extra person as door person.

EXACTLY! I’m so fucking pissed off about this but sadly there’s nothing I or partners can do.

Opening up cafes with the flimsy ass plexiglass they sent us... honestly I thought they were kidding when I first saw it. Apparently we aren’t getting plexiglass for the DT though even though they publicly stated they would do that.

For real. I'm so frustrated. I'm at a high volume DT store right off the interstate, next to a hospital and a mall, so we are always poppin' even with Covid affecting the business. Today was my second close with the Cafe open and two less people than were originally in my block. So four of us on the floor with the breaks that have to be given. I feel like I can't take care of my partners anymore and we're all stressed. My shift duties fall to the side when all we're trying to do is stay caught up with business. Then we're there up to an hour past we are supposed to be because there's no time to clean anything while we're open. Our labor doesn't make sense to me anymore and I feel like I can't do my basic job requirements in the time given. I either have to sacrifice the customer experience to get things done or sacrifice my partner experience to take care of the customers and that doesn't seem fair to me.

It makes me feel a little better that we are all kind of struggling with that and it isn't just something I'm doing wrong. But, it also really upsets me.
