Just a quick question for any baristas who have successfully come back from short-term disability leave: (self.starbucksbaristas)

Is the return-to-work date that Sedgwick gives you the actual day that you start working again, or does it depend on how far in advance the SM makes the schedule? Like if the manager makes the schedule 3 weeks in advance and forecasts another week before that, does that mean it could be up to 4-6 weeks between when Sedgwick stops payments and when you're back to having scheduled shifts?

I remember them giving me all kinds of options.

I remember having a couple weeks of gap and just having to update them of my circumstances, and actual scheduled return date.

Do you remember if you were able to use sick pay to fill the difference?
