Does anyone know if the regular 1460 doc martens have enough grip to wear to work? Looking at getting the pride ones but wanted to make sure I won't eat it if I try to walk behind the bar.

I wear my docs to work every day and haven’t had any issues with grip. Keep in mind they’re not nonslip by any means — wet floors are wet floors, after all.

Definitely consider investing in insoles for them so your feet and back are less sore at the end of the day. ☺️

If you get them and find they’re not as resistant as you wanted you can put a little hot glue on the bottom to create some better grip. As for the original question I wouldn’t be able to help there but I hope someone can!!

Honestly I wear shoes with out any grip. I’m usually so depressed at work that splitting my head open or getting scalded by water would be an improvement in my day

Hmm, I used to wear my 1460 crazy house Docs to work & they got completely wrecked, on top of that they are NOT very slip resistant & you will find yourself slipping here and there, I’ve even fell completely on my back In front of my DM. I looked up the actual slip resistant docs and they are so much better, it takes a longer while to break them in, I haven’t slipped or slid in them at all!
