I'm not sure what advice to give you other than to keep on asking for other positions. It's not fair to pigeon hole you into one position all the time. That must be super frustrating. I work at a super high volume DT store in the Seattle area, and I know lots of cafe partners who have transferred or picked up shifts at my store and are killing it. I genuinely hope things improve for you! If all else fails, the PNW is a great area, and I hope you can make it out here when things chill out (hopefully).
