You don’t need prior experience. I would just apply to as many stores as possible online and then either call or go in person to speak to the manager.

I am from the actual city of Chicago, do you think it is easier to get hired at a quite suburb compared to the hussel and bussel of the city??

It completely depends on the needs of each store. Some stores will be overstaffed and some very under, regardless of city or suburb. That’s why it’s best to apply to a lot of stores. If you’d prefer a quieter or busier store then apply to more of those.

I found it easier to get hired at a Starbucks in a Target, grocery store, etc. Rather than from stand-alone stores (especially when I had no experience). From there you can of course move somewhere else if you don't like it!
