If you wanna get promoted *anywhere* you have to show that confidence and have an outgoing attitude. At my former job, part of my work was developing employees into leaders. Take initiative any chance you get. Be outgoing. If you don’t know something, ask. No one knows everything and showing that you aren’t too proud to ask for direction is a major sign of maturity, believe it or not. Good luck to you!!

Consider the SSV team you are promoting into. If they are a hardworking and diligent bunch then it’s great to promote, if they consistently don’t get their work as a shift done everyday and don’t communicate then being a shift will drive you crazy.

You probably won’t know which they are as a barista though.
