What do I ask for if I want an extra strong chai latte? (self.starbucksbaristas)

I usually order a chai latte w/o water, and one time recently, there was extra chai flavor which was so delicious. Is it a syrup or something that I can ask for an extra pump of? Thanks in advance!

Yeah! Just ask for extra pumps of chai in the latte. The barista can help you decide how many pumps will be good depending on the size of your drink.

Thank you so much! I didn't want to look like a moron asking for an extra pump of chai if it isn't even a syrup 😂 I once asked for a green tea latte w/o water (I like my tea strong so I assume that's how to ensure it will be), and the batista looked at me like I grew two heads.

Green tea lattes are made with a matcha powder, if you wanted that stronger you can ask for it with extra scoops! A regular green tea would have water or lemonade though!

depending on what size you normally get, i’d recommend getting one or two extra pumps. chai is more like a concentrate than a syrup so it’s a bit stronger than some may think

What size and is it hot or iced? For hot, ask for 5,6,7 pumps of chai for tall,grande,venti or 6,7,8 for iced tall,grande,venti. Also extra water should help

I've had customers ask for it less sweet. Turns out, it has to do with milk. Think about it, chai is "spicy", water is, well water, and milk has some sweetness to it. If you do about 1/4 milk instead of half, that should do it
