No alcohol wipes or rags today??... (self.starbucksbaristas)

I came into the store this morning to open and there are zero rags and zero sanitizing wipes and I'm freaking out just a little bit. The SM was scheduled to come in later on and they're bringing in some supplies hopefully. I just feel very uncomfortable but no one seems bothered by the fact that we can't clean anything!!!
I'm still new to this store and I'm not an outspoken person so I haven't said anything about it. What do you guys think the appropriate steps would be in this kind of situation with all this covid craziness going on?

I would call the SM whether you're a shift or not. The store shouldn't be open until you get those unless they have instructed a back up procedure.

That’s not a *later* problem, that’s a *now* problem.
My SM would have told a shift to immediately call other stores and send a barista to pick up clean towels. As well as call to have our next order of towels expedited.
This happened to us once over the summer and within 15mins our morning SSV was sending a barista out the door to get supplies.

Start by talking to the shift or SM about getting cleaning supplies. either transfer supplies from another store or use the p-card to purchase something from a nearby store.
If there's no way to get them quickly or find an acceptable alternative then you should really shutdown until you have cleaning supplies.

We were out of towels today too. We still had the wipes though and were supposed to be getting more towels later today.
