Should I walk into my store to ask about my application status & interview? (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by [deleted]
My starbucks opens this Monday and applied last week so I assumed it might be better to go in instead of calling since it will be busy. By opens I mean people can now go inside the store. If anyone has any tips on getting hired please let me know I really need a job because I can’t apply for unemployment.

I’d say definitely call during a slow time like the other comment said.
As far as tips just be SUPER friendly and smiley. Just seem like you’re happy to be there and eager to learn. Having prior experience is generally preferred but not a requirement. Try to do research and be knowledgeable on Starbucks drinks and lingo if you don’t have coffee experience.
Good luck! :)

I would call instead. It will still be pretty hard to talk to anyone because most cafes that opened have plastic screens up and it would be hard to have a conversion, especially if they’re busy.

If you call on Monday do it around 10-11am after the rush and it’s likely the manager will be there. You could go in, it’s just never a guarantee the manager is actually in store because they set their own hours. They are usually more likely to be there mid morning though.
