I don’t think we sell that many in a week.
VentiEggBite38 points3y ago
It is SO smart to store the warming papers that way, gonna show my SM
pinkraisin23 points3y ago
U don't store yours this way??
VentiEggBite34 points3y ago
Ours are just in a pile so if you’re in a rush they’ll inevitably slide all over the place
andecen17 points3y ago
Storing them in the box like that and restocking is superior
ih8yogurt2 points3y ago
That’s how we did it at my tarbucks too
nobullshitplz20 points3y ago
You do know that you can warm 2 of those at a time, right?
lobotomydreams5 points3y ago
prolly did it for the photo haha
nobullshitplz1 points3y ago
You might have a point there
coreyatay [OP]2 points3y ago
each one had its own bc they were adding them on as their order progressed but yes, i did put more than one in each oven haha

When we closed all the stores like 10yrs ago to train on the new LaBlahblah Bakery it was made clear and written in black and white. We could not deviate from; White bags are warm sandwiches bags + warmed bagels. All other pastry cart items warmed or not warmed are brown bags. Do not fold flap down UNLESS it’s delivery and we are required to fold and tape bag closed. By using bags as intended it is also considered non verbal communication tool. Brown pastry, white sandwich 💥
Brucius70410 points3y ago
Ok, hot debate : are pastries that are warmed supposed to go in warming bags or pastry bags??
Flappadingo20 points3y ago
no debate: pastry bags. they don't get nearly as moist as the sandwiches.
glitchvomit8 points3y ago
except for pumpkin and banana bread... i swear, i set those down on the counter and within 30 seconds the side that was on the counter is... juicy... i feel so weird and guilty handing those to customers. ;_;
Brucius7045 points3y ago
Okay, my store puts anything that’s warmed into a warming bag and when we were shut down I worked at another store that puts warmed pastries in pastry bags. Went back to my store and they called the other store cheap for putting warm pastries in pastry bags instead of warming bags??
Oof, that was tough to type lol
dime_store_magic2 points3y ago
LoL we put them in pastry bags BECAUSE we’re cheap.
WendiNight19 points3y ago
My old store it was simple: anything off the pastry cart, pastry bag. Anything else warming bag. My new store: whoever's working warming does what they want. Paninis in large warming bags is trash.
Brucius7047 points3y ago
Yeah that’s how my store is. Anything goes... and they also fold over all the bags so whatever’s in the bag is soggy and gross. It’s so frustrating .
aimsthename889 points3y ago
We put warmed bagels into warming bags, all other pastries warmed or not go into pastry bags.
cush47 points3y ago
I can’t believe your store had that many thawed and on hand. That would increase our waste, We pull two a day.
coreyatay [OP]1 points3y ago
mostly employees end up eating them but we are right next to the highway and get unpredictable orders
carleykitten7 points3y ago
Hands down the best starbs croissant
coreyatay [OP]2 points3y ago
100%. the marzipan in the middle is the best part
coreyatay [OP]2 points3y ago
i’m just mad bc they got all of the ones we had thawed and i didn’t get to have breakfast
official_koda_2 points3y ago
My store sells maybe three in one week. Customers would rather leave without one before they would ever get almond.
capitalismwitch5 points3y ago
I’m a customer, I would go without a croissant if they didn’t have almond. It’s the best flavour out there. I’m so sad it’s not available in Canada anymore.
official_koda_2 points3y ago
I find most people get plain for whatever reason...it’s so bland. They even get it more than chocolate.
