Hoping this guidance changes throughout the day. Police cars weren’t burning last night on OUR block, just one block away!!

Love your username... interested in organizing too. What do you recommend? I’m so scared about getting fired, not having support from partners, there’s so much chaos everyone is disconnected and the communication has been terrible since covid started

That's messed up. Here in Philadelphia all of our stores are closed and boarded up. There's still a lot of people looting here. Center city has been closed off and the National Guard is here as well.

Don't go. They can't open without enough partners, and they definitely don't want the PR nightmare that would come with injured partners forced to work during riots.

WTH that’s messed up..... I totally feel for you as I’m also in L.A they better provide starbucks bullet proof vest or something. How is this possible national guard is deployed here at staple center? Are we serving them starbucks?

I drove around downtown today after seeing some footage of it getting cleaned up. Looks safe, just a few remnants and many many boarded up shops. I guess I feel safe enough... la live has all the barricades up
