i had to move back home (from college )and i was on a LOA for a while and am now supposed to start going back to work. i was working at a store near my college and got transferred back home so i have a new store now. my parents JUST told me they won't let me go back to work. i guess i can put in my two weeks notice tmmr and try to find someone to cover my shifts but idk what to do.

my parents say that they are at a huge risk of getting covid since they have diabetes so i want to respect that but just quitting is rough. i guess i'll do it but anyone know if there are any other options for me?

Talk to your SM tomorrow about taking a LOA until September if you don't want to quit. Corporate is supposed to be telling managers the details tomorrow.

To quote our leadership, “You’ll just have to have an honest conversation with your managers and fellow partners, they may have to take an extend LOA, or they may have to look at alternative employment.”
