Don’t forget cutting hours! Supposedly we aren’t busy enough to have the extra labor needed

lol i’m working on it, obviously. do you feel god about yourself making an obvious ass point? they don’t care about your ass either lmao

I mean, they are paying for my college, giving me paid vacation & sick time, they literally paid me for a whole month to sit on my ass at home. They gave me $500 from the cup fund just cause I missed a payment for a bill, and not to mention the benefits Starbucks offers is more then adequate and affordable. So, if your part time fast food job isn’t doing it for you, good luck buddy. I hope you find what you’re looking for elsewhere. In the meantime, stop complaining. Be glad you even have a job.

the extra $3/hour service pay and CAT pay were for nothing when they're just taking it away from us after a month and asking employees to willingly leave or risk having their hours cut. im not arguing the fact that we have great benefits and are generally treated decently but they're seriously fucking us over with this one. i'm really happy it won't effect u financially to lose ur extra $3/hour service pay and get hours cut but for the majority of us, it unfortunately will negatively affect us a great deal.

Imagine being a worker and licking boot for a corporation. Fucking beyond parody.

Do you feel you have less protections than other people who are essential workers? Gas stations attendants, fast food workers? I’m sure you’ve visited at least one in the past few months. Are your restrooms and cafes actually being opened up the same way bars and restaurants are? Because that’s not the corporate response it should not be so. We are in grab and go model for now if there’s different direction it should be reported to ethics and compliance or PRSC.

The hard truth? I have partners that want more hours than I can give and I transfer them with a heavy heart to stores that need them and yet; I have a long list of candidates that applied because they have seen how much this company has done for their employees opposed to their previous jobs.
