It’s a lot right now, with or without clinical depression, all of us are being challenged right now. Take care of yourself, good job reaching out, breathe... we gotta try to get through this thing. We all need each other too much to give up now!

My ASM swears by Headspace and keeps mentioning Lyra to me. Maybe they will be helpful for you. Otherwise, it seems to me that there are plenty of strangers here, including myself, that are willing to listen and talk.

Hi everyone! I have clinical depression and anxiety and here is my advice.
-Find a therapist, it sounds simple but it's much harder and that's tough to wrap your head around. You want to feel better right away but there's a lot of factors to it. You'll have to "shop" for a therapist (that's how my grandma put it lol). -Find a therapist or psychologist/psychiatrist who can help you find a medicine to help. My therapy office has a RN or a nurse practitioner who can prescribe medicine, I have 30 minute sessions with her and we discuss whats working and what's not. That's another hard thing- your body will react weirdly to different medicines so just be patient.
-find a Cognitive Behavioral Therapist - this type of therapist can offer advice whereas other therapists really can only listen. I got fed up with one of my therapists and was like "can't you give me any ideas of what to do!" And he said "I can't really my job is to listen". Well I can talk to walls so I asked my trusted nurse there and she said CBT was the way to go, so I did and I've never looked back (that's CBT not CBD although that could be helpful for anxiety :O )

Reward yourself after work. A good reward - like a walk outside or a small nap in the sun or a small semi-healthy treat. Treat yo self during the day - you deserve it. And be patient with yourself.

try better help too! Ive been at the job for 2+ years and I was in a really bad place before I got the job. Its been a lot of work but I really feel like I’m starting to make some good changes and progress! Dont give up. Be open and real w the people around you. Be present.
