Hello partners of Reddit!

Just wanted to comment how thankful I am for my store.

Obviously, this pandemic has affected all partners in all stores significantly. Many of my coworkers took CAT pay, but they made sure to check in with those of us who kept working and stay part of the team.

We were able to stay loose and focused despite our busyness, and were number 1 in drive thru times over the last period in our rather large district and number three in sales.

We just had an amazing remodel over the last few weeks, and I will admit I was nervous to come back, but my wonderful store manager, shifts and fellow baristas (not to mention our amazing regulars) made my first shift back today a breeze.

I know sometimes corporate screws us over, and I’ve been with some rough coworkers before, but my store has been serving our customers and each other kindness throughout this whole thing. Really refreshing break from the madness of the world today. Also, black lives matter.

TL;DR- I love my store, partners and managers. We’re in this together and I’m thankful.
