I have been a barista since November 2019 and have never been trained for bar only here and there (I can make a killer latte tho) and now with the whole transfer thing my manager told me that if they were to transfer me, they would want a well rounded barista who can do everything because they don’t have time to train someone. I feel really discouraged and wish I was trained because I’m also unable to pick up shifts at other stores as well. I also ended my lease in preparation for the move now I think I’m looking at being out of work for a while. What should I do?
