Do we get less of a discount now? (self.starbucksbaristas)

I just bought a couple frappes and noticed the discount dropped from 2 dollars something to like 1.77 for each drink, we’re there any changes made ? I also remember somebody telling me last month we got more discount due to COVID ? Is this true?

Yeah it’s back to 30% :( the partner bev/free food benefit has been extended to Sept,eat though!

You still get one food and beverage mark out everyday whether you work that day or not, that’s been extended till September

Wow I had no idea, I’ve been to stores and ask for the mark out but they alway just give me the discount instead. That’s why I thought it just wouldn’t work

So during Covid-19 we could’ve either chosen to stay at home and get paid for 30-days or we could stay and work and get an extra $3/hr. Also when this went into affect our partner discount went from 30% off to 50% off. But now that’s it’s beginning of June, we lost the extra $3/hr and went back down to 30% off. However whether you’re working or not you can still get a free drink and food item as a markout until September.

I am currently traveling. Just stopped at a store in Iowa and they got upset with me when I asked for the partner food and bev markout. They said the markout is for drinks only and not food. So now I am just really confused.

It's for 1 food item and 1 drink. It's in the weekly update from last week. Extended until September 30th.
