Advice on my two weeks (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by littledahmer
I gave my sm my two week notice through a message on sat 05/31, they never responded or said anything to me in person about it either. I look on the schedule and I’m not scheduled at all from the 7th-13th, but I am scheduled the week after. Technically if I already put in my two weeks I don’t have to work after the 13th. Could I just simply not show up to those shifts?

Yes, but don't be silly. Sbux is offering a severance package to partners right now. Retract your notice, work through 6/11 then take the severance package.

You mean starbucks may give you a separation package. Because it is just a preference not a guarantee.

Text messages are not a valid form of communication with management. You need to give your notice to them written down on paper. With the new options right now though you should get that severance package. Call your SM and tell them that you want to take option 3.
