By law, they have to pay out your vacation if you seperate from the company. You should recieve it with your last paycheck I believe.

That’s not true in most cases and in most states. Labor laws vary greatly. Starbucks didn’t cash out mine when I left.

You need to double check local laws. On federal level they do not have to pay vacation hours and varies state to state if they have to or not.

By law **in most states.** State wage laws vary. Starbucks will not pay it out if the partner resides in a state that doesn't require PTO to be paid out.

Yes. There’s a FAQ attached to the preferences pdf and it says that you will get paid vacation hours on your final paycheck

I would write as many sick and vacation days as possible ahead of time. Official policy is that upon separation you don't get those paid out.
