Hey, can this be a thread where we figure this out state by state? Cause I'm in California and this is all terrifying.

Depends what state your in. I’m in Florida so I went on their website and had to take some time reading through everything because it’s my first time filing. It took probably at least an hour to digest the websites info & go through the application process. If you need assistance with the application process I would call the department. Make sure to note what specific questions you need help with so they can assist you to the best of their ability. When I called to make sure I would even qualify the guy was the sweetest and beyond helpful :)
