It’s probably because I live in New York but yes, we recently passed a law in March (for the whole tri-state area, actually) and now bags are five cents. Even at our local drug stores. I had to walk with my lady products in hand because I forgot to bring a re-usable bag lol

Omg, I’m so sorry! People are so calm with paying $5 for a cup of coffee but DRAW THE LINE at paying five cents for a bag they’re going to throw away.
