Where to find Gross Income?(self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by jumpingsquid
Hey y’all - so I am taking the severance, and when applying for unemployment benefits, the state requests Gross Income (so pay totals before taxes, etc).
On the Partner page you can see your earnings but they are after taxes (exactly the amount on your paycheck, nothing more). I’d like to be as accurate as possible when filing. Anyone know where to find this info? As I get direct deposit I don’t get paystubs in the mail.
Many thanks! Hope you are all doing okay during this transition.

Your paystub should say what was your income before taxes, amount of taxes taken out, and your take home pay. And it will also have your year to date income.

I don’t know if this would be applicable to you but I used last years taxes to answer the gross income. If you’ve worked over a year with the company you’re filing about then it should just require a years worth of gross income

Oh, interesting - yes I’ve been with the company since 2017. I figured only this year applied since the NY calculator asks about the current year’s quarters. I haven’t done the official application yet obviously, though I’m sure that is an option.
Many thanks for the heads up!

To get your paystubs, you need to go to partner info, click paystubs/pay statements, and click on the actual paystub for the date you want to see. It will open a PDF file with your full paystub with all the info you need.
