How to deal with toxic partners? (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by IlikemySwitch
My store like many have been crazy because of the coronavirus, apparently 5+ partners are self isolating right now, my SM asked if I could pick up a few shifts, despite having a fulltime job I picked a few up.

I have ALL the dates in text, I have a picture of the schedule, and checked the online portal TWO DAYS AGO. I was NOT scheduled, or asked to work today. But somehow I got a call from the shift lead saying I was late.... I explained I was not scheduled to work today, but one of the partners who's had issues with my (I believe because of my color), decided to be passive-aggressive and call me out in our not official Instagram group.

Messages:
Them: "Can somebody come in because mf’s called out talking about they didn’t they worked today but proceeded to thank me for posting the schedule in advance."

Someone else: "... well some people are out cause of the partner with Covid symptoms... ugh"

Them: "Well said person doesn’t have covid and was originally going to come in but used the excuse of not having someone follow up with him to work a shift that he was scheduled for Didn’t even call the store or nothing We’re about to close the store cause I got things to do and I’m not about to work someone’s shift"

Me: "Before you assume I had malicious intent by “calling out” you can actually look at that schedule and see I wasn’t scheduled to work today.

& when I checked the online schedule two days ago, I WAS NOT scheduled today.

I was not asked to work today. I believe Jane mixed up days I said I could pickup, because in our texts I said I could work several other partners shifts, because I wanted to help.

Instead of acting like an asshole you could be a decent person and not assume the worst."

The person is continuing to be passive-aggressive and it's making me really uncomfortable, & They have advocated for violence in the past..

What should I do?

screenshot for proof of this interaction and their passive aggressiveness just in case they decide to delete their messages, and speak to your sm about it
