You need to check your state unemployment website for the answer. Each state is different.
Many states offer partial unemployment though. I’m in CA and I’m getting partial unemployment right now while still working for Starbucks. But I had a full time job and Starbucks was my extra income. My full time job closed so I was able to apply for partial unemployment because I saw 75% reduction in wages. In CA, in order to qualify, you need to see at least 25% reduction to your wages (I think, it could be less or more). Some states base it on amount of hours lost though. Some states need 50% reduction, some states say that you need make less than a certain amount of money per week/month in order to qualify for partial unemployment.
It all based on your state.
What were your average hours? Were you normally working 20 hours per week? Or were you working close to 40 hours per week before? If you only have a 5 hour reduction per week from your average, you might not qualify. If you went from 40 hours to 15 hours, you should be able to qualify.

How'd you guys answer this part of the application: "*Are you unemployed as a direct result of a recent disaster (for example: COVID-19, earthquake, flood, mudslide, or fire) in California?". If clicked yes it asks if I am an unemployed worker but I am still employed with reduced hours?
