I didn’t know yesterday would be my last day! I got a call today saying I was approved for option 3, which was my first choice. No one in my store was very sure about when the packages were going to take effect.
I was scheduled for the next two days and now since I’ve been let go, I don’t get to work what i thought would be my last two shifts. I’m just kind of sad because if I would’ve known yesterday would be my last day I would’ve made it count and said goodbye to everyone. It’s okay though, I’m a free woman now lol. I’ll write them a little note in the back when I go back to get a couple things I left there. Thanks for everything Starbucks :)

You may luck out and get paid for what you have scheduled, I think my SM did that. My last shift today was pretty ho-hum as well. Either way, you are a free bird! 243yaddayadda here.

What the fuck do the numbers mean? I work at Starbucks and I'm reading these posts. Like 275*** or 873***** whatever

It’s our partner numbers lol you can tell when people started working by how low or high their numbers are

Target starbucks worker here. Can someone please explain what the 3 options all the corporate Sbux workers are talking about?

Basically all baristas (maybe shifts?) were given three options, 1. Was to keep working and maybe suffer a loss of hours but continue as normal otherwise, 2. Was to take a temporary leave of absence until October (I think) but keep our benefits like free weekly coffee mark out, healthcare, etc., and 3. Was to be separated from the company and be laid off due to coronavirus and lack of business but still eligible for rehire, with a payout from the company and full unemployment benefits if you qualify. That’s all I know personally, anyone can feel free to add on or correct me if I got anything wrong.
