I made this after a young woman tried to step over the cones we had in place to access the bathrooms (i.redd.it)

When the whole pandemic was starting to effect our stores my SSV put signs on every single window explaining everything. Like, everywhere. Guy comes in asking a question that could literally be answered by reading the sign. SSV just says

"So Ima have you read that sign on the door."

We had a man come in and yell at us that he was going to report us to the state health department because our restrooms weren’t open. He was so mad about it and it was actually kinda funny.

At my store we have literally barricaded the bathrooms with the condiment bar. I’m just waiting for some blissfully unthinking customer to drag it out of the way...

That happened at my store today!!! And when the barista called him out for it he threw a legit tantrum and almost broke our door on the way out of the store only to come back in 2 minutes later and order a coffee. He stared at me the whole time I made it. I told him I hoped he had a wonderful rest of his day in the sweetest tone I could fake. He just glared at me and muttered a fuck you on his way out. 😂😂 hope you have a shitty rest of your day sir.

As they say, “I hope your day is just as pleasant as you are!”

Currently my store doesn’t allow any customers inside out lobby, we are only open for drive thru and mobile order pickup.

Our pick up location is literally just inside our doors, we have cones and three tables blocking any access beyond that point. All of our other chairs are literally stacked up and moved into the hall alongside our restrooms.

This one woman, decided that clearly these tables, cones and chairs were merely a suggestion. She proceeded to move all of them out of her way and walk towards the restrooms. I see this and I bolt from behind the counter and had to physically block her way into the hall.

Me: ma’am you can’t be here inside out lobby. It’s closed off from ALL customers.
Lady: well I have to use the bathroom.
Me: they are not accessible for customers, there are signs all over the store windows explaining that.
Lady: well I didn’t actually think you’d enforce it.
Me: (still blocking her way) hate to break it to you but... we are. We have tables and cones set up preventing non-partners from coming inside, you have to leave.
Lady: but I have to go (gesturing to the restrooms)
Me: you can’t be inside the store, no exceptions. Please leave.

Lady tried to push past me, but I’m a stubborn pain in the ass, so I don’t move, “ma’am Please leave our lobby, you are not permitted to be here, our restrooms are closed.”

She left after a few seconds, but grumbled under her breath about how she was gonna get me fired.

I literally just made a post about this but a woman literally MOVED our barricade of chairs and tables and the sign that said the bathrooms are closed and used it anyways and then when confronted said “I know I just had to pee” like AHHGGNTIGNFNFN what is wrong with our customers

A few weeks ago we put the cones out at 3 because we had reduced hours due to Covid. A woman called the store and complained about how on google it said we closed at 8. After telling her that due to the GLOBAL PANDEMIC we had reduced hours she said, and I quote , "Well can't you just let me cut in line, I'm HONGRY." I had to stop myself from laughing.

I actually walked into a store for the first time since March (I usually make purchases within the DT), and saw the orange cones today. Even with the signs, there were still other customers ask to use the bathroom. I presumed that the bathrooms would be locked anyway, and only accessible to SB employees.

We actually had a neighbor restaurant come over yesterday He said that all of our customers are going into his restaurant to use his bathroom and that we are "on bad terms now."

Had a mom try to come inside while our lobby was closed (open for mobile pick up but only at the door) and we stopped her got her drink and did the whole have a great day or whatever. She just stood there so we asked if she needed anything else because there was a line forming behind her. “No I’m just waiting for my son to get out of the bathroom, I know you guys are being selfish by closing them so I distracted you so he could go.” We were so mad omfg

I explained to a gentleman that the restrooms “were not open to the public” and he refused to believe that applied to him until my shift backed me up
Dantesdeception 2 points 3y ago
We built a barricade of tables and closed bathroom signs at the very start of the pandemic. People just pushed right through them like it wasnt there

Had a off duty cop got upset because we couldn't allow him to use the bathroom since he was out of uniform.

I literally said the same thing when this happened at our store.

Customers can't read and that's on periot. Ppl stand outside my store when there's a big sign with our number on it and text that explains the mobile order process but they're too blind to read it.

We have tables blocking the bathrooms

According to our dm we have to have one bathroom open to the public due to our state guide lines and I've never heard of such a thing
