MOCHA SAUCE DOESNT HAVE ANY COFFEE. ITS A FLAVORING...
to the wonderful family who came through our drive today, ordered double chocolate chip frapps and tried to get them without mocha because you thought mocha was coffee after we thoroughly explained to you that it was flavoring and not coffee.. and you just quite literally refused to listen... :) never come back

Oh and this also goes for any and all of our wonderful customers who don't know our tall is our small and get mad at us for saying tall. :)
Also goes to those amazing people who don't know how to order and become impatient and rude with us baristas for trying to figure it out :) and this post is really just dedicated to all of our trash.. I mean extraordinary customers who make our shifts a living hell :) oops! I mean the best time of our days :))))

Yesterday someone ordered a tall drink. I now am in the habit of holding up said cup (if they’re in front of me) to make sure. So I held up the tall cold cup and double checked. “HUFF. NO TALL.” Yeah... this is tall. “NO THE TALL IS THE BIGGEST ONE, YOUR MANAGERS KNOWS WHAT I MEAN WHEN I SAY TALL”
Dude. I’ve corrected her numerous times, and I’m not going to stop correcting her until this dumb woman gets it right.

Seriously! The audacity. And you always get those customers who "forgot" but wanted trentas... so we give them two free drinks and recovery cards :) oh and trust us your next order will be free too! -_-

I had the same thing happen with a grande the other day. Handed out the grande CM out the window - “is this a grande?”

well no venti is our largest size. This is a grande, which is what you ordered and paid for. I can make you a venti if your like though.

Well in the three years I’ve worked for Starbucks we have always had a venti and grande has always been medium.. but maybe before then

At Starbucks this is true but literally everywhere else mocha means coffee+chocolate so it’s an honest mistake. Kinda wish baristas were interested in coffee culture outside of what we’re trained.

Yeah I could totally see how it would be an "honest mistake" if they asked a first time... but it was after we repeatedly told them it was just our chocolate sauce and explained to them what it was that they insisted it was coffee and they didn't want it in their drink... so in this case it really was just them refusing to listening :) and im not huge on coffee, so I didnt realize that, but thanks for letting me know!

Well if you’re being pedantic, it’s double “chocolaty” chip, because there isn’t enough chocolate in it to call it chocolate
