okay so I chose option #3 which is the severance package and days later my SM calls me telling me our store has enough hours and that I can still quit but I wouldn’t be paid out and it would be voluntary. so I chose to stay and keep working.
we got paid this last Friday but yesterday I received a deposit from Starbucks and it was a good chunk of money and so did the other partners who chose option #3 (and chose to end up staying when my SM called them.) I asked my SM about it and she told me our partner numbers won’t be working for a bit but she’s working with our DM to reverse it but she assured me I still had my job.
my main question is... will Starbucks ask for this money back? lol

It's a good possibility they will if this was an error. I would hang on to it just in case.

I would say there is a 99.9% chance they won’t ask for it back. Don’t spend any of it, it was paid out to you in error.
