Get ready for every old person to complain that the bathrooms aren't open. Coronavirus has somehow made me happy that my stores bathrooms have locks on them.
cilantroprince 34 points 3y ago
we have our condiment bar blocking off the bathrooms to keep people out, but of course some man took it upon himself to lift and push the whole bar out of the doorway and away so he could get in... he played it of like “whoops! sorry i didn’t know!” but seriously??
drkdeibs 16 points 3y ago
Yeah we had 2 kids go under the table blocking the bathrooms to access them. After they came out we let the parent know the bathrooms are closed. His response, "but i have kids" SMH
cilantroprince 12 points 3y ago
??? having children doesn’t give you special permission?
ringwormsurvivor 4 points 3y ago
Try telling that to the parents.

We just reopened our lobby with limited seating (including the bathrooms). I cant even believe the amount of people that come in just to take a shit in our store. Even had one guy come in and, when told our bathrooms were closed, said "where am I supposed to use the bathroom?" Uh, at your own fuckin house, my dude. Wtf. 🤦‍♀️
dalenakitty 15 points 3y ago
We had to reopen our bathrooms because we reopened our patio. It's so annoying and I'm so mad that we were forced to do it. I wish I had locks.

Lol at my store the bathrooms are already open

You will be asked “So when are you going to totally open back up??” by every. single. customer. all day, every day.
drkdeibs 23 points 3y ago
Funniest thing, customers stopping at the first "wait here" circle on the floor right in front of the door with no one in front of them
"You here for a mobile order sir?"
Standing literally 40 feet away from the POS; right near the mobile order pick up.
"Nope, just waiting to order"
princesscupcakes69 12 points 3y ago
To be fair, this whole debacle is unprecedented and people aren't sure how to behave and want to do the right thing.
_dracaryyss 2 points 3y ago
These people are honestly my favorite type of customer cause they’re at least TRYING to follow instructions instead of blatantly ignoring them
siriushendrix 30 points 3y ago
I work at a DT that reopened our lobby for grab and go. The regulars that came back... “I always come here and I just wanted my coffee but you wouldn’t take my order at the door”
Best of luck to ya
cilantroprince 6 points 3y ago
ha yes, heard that word for word at least 4 times!
BouyHowdy 15 points 3y ago
Customer: I have the onset of Corona *cough* can I please get a medicine ball? I'm thinking it'll help my throat.
MrHorse666 6 points 3y ago
Get ready to have the lobby open right when you start feeling comfortable working.

This guy was sitting ON a table and got mad and yelled at me when I asked him not to use the furniture
kaitlyn_vargas 2 points 3y ago
Our store has been open for grab and go now the biggest question we get it if our seating is open and why we don’t have our patio furniture outside...😓
Livetheuniverse 2 points 3y ago
We already have indoor seating and bathroom open at my store. Wisconsin ftw

Our cafe has been open for Grab and Go for about two weeks and we opened our bathrooms on Tuesday. My nailbeds are bleeding because of how often I wash my hands to try and offset how many assholes touch me.

I recommend that you don't leave anything within possible reach of a customer.

We have all the straws and other goods on a stool in the middle of our space to keep people from reaching. We also still organize all the mobile orders in the drivethrough area and make each customer tell us there name and go grab them from there.

Just putting all that stuff far back on the counter did nothing to stop people. It had to out of sight to get people to just fucking wait for us to help them. Also stand behind the sheilds and force them to interact through them. when they try to lean around I back up till they lean back.
