I was told you’d be rehirable after taking option 3. However, it all depends on the needs of the store. If the store can “afford” to take you back, they will. If not, then they won’t.

My manager told me and the shifts that if anyone takes 3 they won't rehire them even if we need it. They told us we only get option one, and two wouldn't work for us. I thought it was weird

The three options were, for the most part, doable. You just have a shitty SM. That’s a narcissist if I’ve ever seen one. She’s basically saying ‘if you’re not gonna work for me, then don’t work ever!’ Unfortunately this personality does run rampant in retail.
Option 2 states that you are ‘technically’ on LOA until September but ‘subject to recall per business needs’. So you get home after what you think is your last day of work until September but potentially will be called back 3 days later because ‘they need you’.
Option 3 is a voluntary thing with approval from SM and DM so unless you have some crazy records, you are and always will be ‘rehirable’. If your SM marks you as ‘nonrehirable’ or even goes so far as threatening that, report them to Ethics ASAP.
I have no excuse for the Happy Hour. Does it soften the blow that there is only ONE HH for the whole month? (I’m kidding. Don’t kill me!)

I didn’t even get to choose my SM chose for me and the rest of the partners at my store.
