I used to manage a sbux, and it's shit like this that made me quit. Corporate's blatant disregard for the mental and physical health of Partners is disgusting.

Currently, my plan is to wear a red shirt so that I get sent home before the mobs arrive.

I'm not sure how your district is, but in mine, nobody got sent home for any reason during BOGO.

Would be a shame if you were running a temperature before your shift tho 🤷🏽

Mmmm. You DEVIL.

But then you don’t get paid.

One of my partners once jokingly put the scanner in front of an open oven and was like ‘can I be sent home now?’ 😅

Yeah, my store is so understaffed as is, I think I could show up completely out of dress code and still be allowed to work

I just hope customers are kind to their stressed out baristas. It's rediculous.
I just started last fall and to think I almost thought they gave a damn about anything besides the bottom line. They gave us the carrot during the beginning of this crisis, now we're all getting the stick, the kick, or mandatory LOA.

today was straight up the worst shift of my life. and right in the middle of an insane happy hour, a man with no mask, barefoot, was arguing with me about not wanting to exit through the side door like i asked him to
pynchon_sandwich [OP] 2 points 3y ago
This is why we need to come together, friend. This shit is getting to be too much.
ayy-shane 2 points 3y ago
we close at 6 and i clocked out at 7:50. its getting ridiculous
pynchon_sandwich [OP] 1 points 3y ago
Organizing.

What? No, that's insane.

It’s so bad at my store today, I’ve been literally running all around my store and I’m currently having an asthma attack on my ten ahahahaha
pynchon_sandwich [OP] 3 points 3y ago
Ya, no big deal right?
shadowhunterartemis 3 points 3y ago
I'm only coming in for the last thirty minutes and I'm freaked out
pynchon_sandwich [OP] 1 points 3y ago
And then you have to go and the guilt sets in.
titsofthecaca 2 points 3y ago
Just a buncha hunks in corporate

Every other store i know said they are not running sales because they need to limit people in store. Not SB they are too stupid to see the loss of product and labor on the dumb BOGO. My SM is all about the daily CST and Sales we blow away the CST and barely get over the Sales. I said yeah because half our sales are free after 2pm Grrr
