1) find partner with truck

2) load in bed of said truck

3) drive to car wash

4) spray them raggedy bitches clean

This. Or if there is a water spigot outside your store bring a hose and spray down outside. We’ve brought an electric pressure washer before

When I pull them to clean, I spray them bleach and used the deck scrub brush to pick up gross stuff and them when I put them back on the floor I’ll mop the top and spot mop around. It can take more time but it’s doing it regularly that helps!

This is perfect. I’d just like to add that bleach damages the mat and this, creates more nooks and crannies for stuffs to get stuck in. Floor cleaner does the job and it’s not as abrasive. I got this tip on Workplace. Good on you for deep cleaning your mats.

so my stores doesn’t have bleach or floor cleaner! we did have restroom cleaner for a while but now we only have liquid cleaner? i heard its good for drains but i don’t know how well that’ll work on mats lol.

So I like to rank things and I’m leaving oven cleaner out of this since it’s so specific, in terms of strength/most abrasive, it’ll be liquid cleaner > restrooms cleaner > floor cleaner > blue spray. Do you mean your store doesn’t have that dispenser for the bleach and floor cleaner? How do you get the sanitizer water for the red bucket?

sorry when you say floor cleaner do you mean like something in a spray bottle or the cleaner for the mop bucket? for the sanitizer bucket we use the sanitizer from the 3 compartment sink

Wait side note like floor mats? You guys get floor mats?
ksmurphs [OP] 1 points 3y ago
yea like the big black floor mats...you don’t get floor mats?!
animeilove1219 1 points 3y ago
We don’t have any floor mats anywhere in my store... I feel like they would help with slip and slides.

i could be wrong but i believe having mats (8 min ) is required in every store! they’re specifically made to reduce slips and falls and also helps reduce leg and back pain from standing for so long

My store is getting a remodel and we are opening soon so I’ll ask. But I saw people on here saying taking a clean garbage can and soaking them.

Before mopping the rest of the store, I lay them out in the back and get them soaked then let them sit until I'm ready to bring them back and do a once over again and use the deck brush!
