This is awful and I'm so sorry that you had such a craptastic day. I know it's not the same coming from some random from another store, but I appreciate and value you, and I hope you get time very soon to recharge and I hope you're taking care of yourself. Remember that your wellbeing is still more important than this job even if it doesn't seem like anybody else believes that.

Suggestion:
If it happens again, call your SM and advise that you cannot implement modified operations or social distancing with the current staffing. Ask them how to proceed. You could always surprise them with a question like, “based on projected customer contacts during HH, how did we arrive on 3 partners needed while also implementing modified operations?”
Your SM can disable delivery and MOP from their laptop to prevent things from turning into a circus IF youre understaffed and IF you’re a store that has a lot of mobile orders during HH. Starbucks states partner safety is #1 so encourage them to actually prioritize partner safety.
If your SM blows you off, elevate it to the DM or HR. OSHA is also available if you’re really getting stonewalled.

Thanks for this advice! My SM is new to us (she has been in the district for 5 years) and was expecting HH at my store to be the same as HH at her old store (they had almost no change in business). We shut off our UberEats orders. Our DM won’t let us turn off mobile orders because it “ruins the customer experience.” We also only had one of our three espresso machines working 🙃

There was only 3 people at my store yesterday for happy hour. I have two jobs, it was was my one day off. I went in for 2 hours and helped cause I couldn’t stand the thought of them suffering
