JW, how many days during the week do your SM's schedule themselves non-coverage off the floor? (self.starbucksbaristas)

Right now is a different time. With so many changes happening, SMs have a lot more admin work to do. That’s why SMs are mostly doing admin. With amount of conference calls, labor adjusting, implementing changes, etc it’s hard to get everything done that’s admin and work on the floor all the time.

Thank you. I did figure as much, but I was jw if other SM's were finding time to help out on the floor as well.
Totally understand that they're under a lot of pressure rn and do have all these extra obligations they have to worry about. But I unfortunately wouldn't put it past my SM to milk the shit out of this situation. Cause she sure milked her off the floor duties even before covid. So much so that partners have actually contacted our DM about it in the past.
But again, I also understand that these circumstances are not normal and hard on everyone.

There are for sure some SMs that milk the situation. My SM finds time to be on a floor as much as he can which is nice.

Despite all the admin things due to COVID, mine is on the floor at least once a week, and lately a bit more. She was also on bar yesterday for happy hour so that was very nice of her. She also schedules herself for Clean Plays.

My manager usually works 4:30am-12:30pm. Once peak is over, shes off the floor doing admin work. I know right now with everything going on, they have a ton more admin stuff to do too
