Sooo.. does anyone have some actual information on when we are going to get the payout and when we can start filing for unemployment? My manager has literally told people different dates and I have no idea what’s going on anymore.
She texted me on the 7th to say everything was finalized. She texted someone else that it went through on the 15th. NOW she’s telling me that it’s not going to go through until the 22nd.
Would love to know what’s actually going on..

Apply for unemployment as soon as you can. You don't have to wait for the severance to come through. They're sending it separate from your paycheck so irks probably be either this Friday or the next

You can apply for unemployment whenever you want, just use the last date you worked. Your last check contains your vacation hours and they’ll send you the bonus hours/COBRA sum after you sign the severance agreement (which is bull crap since part of what you’re signing is agreeing you’ve already been paid but they won’t pay you until you sign...?)

I received mine via email on Monday. Once you receive it you have 60 days to sign it

You should’ve been sent a separation email by Starbucks with documents to sign. Check your spam or contact your store manager ASAP! Mine got sent like almost a week ago

I didn’t get an email so I messaged my manager.. However this is the same person that literally keeps telling everyone different things
