Apron causing neckpain? (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by Cessoe
Hey guys 271 here, my apron never used to bug me but now it feels like it rides up and feels super unpleasant on my neck, I fidget with it constantly but it doesn't help for more than a minute or so. Anyone else had this issue?

I always wear a shirt with a collar and put it behind the collar to avoid that.

one of my SMs hates the aprons against his neck so he always wears collared shirts with the apron tucked under. the one day he forgot to wear a collared shirt he had me staple his apron onto his shirt so it wasn’t on his neck lol

The aprons give me a tension headache starting in my neck no matter how loose or tight it is, I haven’t found a cure. If you find one let me know, I feel your pain.

Maybe loosening the strap will help I wear mine pretty low to avoid irritation as my skin is very sensitive

Do you keep your phone in the pocket? I’ve noticed mine starts to bother me if i have stuff weighing down the pockets.

I don't, I usually only carry a marker on my apron, or other small bits but it doesn't seem to matter empty or full it strains my neck

Darn. Sorry man that’s all I got ☹️

Also consider trying a different detergent or washing your aprons in fabric softener? I have super sensitive skin and the only aprons that don’t bug me are my old faded ones that have been through the wash a ton
