How to heat up soup at work???(self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by fuckchemtrailsyo
Hey guys, this is super random lol but I'm basically doing a 10 day no-food cleanse because of health issues. (yea it sux lol) After the cleanse, I need to eat only vegetable stew for 2 days! The problem is I work 9am-3pm on one of the veggie stew days. We only have the warmers to heat things up at my store. I've thought about bringing a thermos but I was wondering if anyone had any other ideas? Thanks!

A thermos is your best bet since we cant put partner food in the ovens. Im surprised your store doesnt have a microwave? Every store ive worked at has had one

My store did not have a microwave for the longest time and it sucked until a partner finally brought in their old one.

I always used to bring thermoses of chicken soup in the winter. I fill the thermos with boiling water before putting in the heated up soup, and it’s warm when I eat it 4+ hours later. I’d also suggest making something you can cut with hot water (like those Campbell’s soups that take a can of water) if you like your soup really hot.

steam it

Add some hot water from the brewer to make it warm? May water down your soup though
