Shift Team Is Only Bullies!!!! HELP! I need advice please! Thank you for helping 💕 (self.starbucksbaristas)

Hey! Here is a little context, i used to work at my store, transferred->got promoted->transferred back.
I had a rough start at this store , but since two people got promoted to shift supervisor and joined the team, the 5 other shifts turned into mega bullies. They lie about my shifts and not do things so i get out half an hour late at night. Recently they started lying to my manager and writing nastygrams in the DRB. I want work to be fun again and I cant transfer just yet. But I have documentation that they are lying (about cash management and station assessments). Should i go to my manager first or should i confront them about it first? Should i say something outside of work because we have each others social media?

Thank you! I take pictures of everything, that im going to show my store manager and district manager as soon as I can! Thank you! Im also going to say something to them, the dont expect me to take it out of the book and into an open conversation

Honestly talking to your manager is probably the best route, even going to your DM if your SM sides with them. Tbh ive experienced this where shift supervisors write passive aggressive notes in the DRB or the DCR. The best thing you can do is to make your manager aware of the situation and keep doing your job. As long as you do your orders and all the other shift stuff you should be fine. People make mistakes and maybe order an extra case of mocha. I dont think you have anything to worry about in regards to your job or your status. As far as bringing it back to a safer environment, it might be good to talk with them and open up communication. Have a moderator like your SM so they don't get to nasty or so you have proof. Be like "i noticed you write X, Y, and Z in the book, can you please explain why you said these about me and my open/close?" Communication is key. Don't sink to their level

Thank you, im going to talk to them, my manager , and the dm about it. I have months of pictures of the lies and the work produced saved up. My manager will always side with them, i just need to make sure i talk to her before i talk to my dm 😭 hoping this goes well, thank you for the advice

Of course. Like I've said, I have dealt with it where my manager even spread lies behind my back and openly encouraged me to quit. I consulted her, but after realizing what a toxic environment it was, I went to my DM. Said "look I have text proof, this behavior is not okay." And the DM should be the person to snap your manager into place or at the very least get you to a place where you can feel safe. Whether your manager is spreading lies or simply picking sides, that is not their job. Their job is to take care of the store and have a functioning and healthy environment. If they cannot see the worth you bring into the store, then that is unfortunate and I hate to say it but maybe you'd be better at a different store where the manager can actually see your strength.

Thank you! I feel validated after connecting with you about it 💔 i wish it wasnt like this, I transferred back because my old coworker was sexually harassing me 💔 im getting ready to move on

I’ve dealt with ssv bullies at sbux before, I called partner resources for help and I can’t remember what they told me word for word but I suggest you call them (ESPECIALLY if he sides with them) and then bring it up to your SM and let them know you already contacted the PCC about the situation. They’ll probably mention it to the DM just in case the SM doesn’t take care of the problem, but they won’t do anything unless they need to
