Just remember, literally no one expects you to have it down right away. I was told most people take 1-3ish months to get everything, and I've heard it being more. Dont worry if you dont have it all down right after your training officially ends

Do not take things personally, cause when it’s peak and your still learning it’s gunna be tuff and attitudes are not the best , just IGNORE them

Ask questions and stay busy! if you don’t know how you can help, ASK. Also, it takes people weeks to be fully comfortable on their own so don’t be too hard on yourself. Treat everything like a learning experience and be coachable.

Don’t take any annoyance personally.
We don’t always mean to seem annoyed, but a lot of the time green beans get thrown into it and during a stressful rush it can happen. Is it right? No, but we aren’t annoyed with green beans, just the situations. We WANT you to ask all the questions you need so no matter how small it may seem, ask it.

Don't be afraid to ask questions. I promise, asking questions along the way is what will build you to be a stronger barista. It's going to be overwhelming, but your fellow baristas will be there for you. I wish you good luck and I hope you have a supportive team to help guide you! You've got this!

It helps to repeat the routines you are taught. Try your best to explain what your trainer taught you when it's your turn.

When you’re bored or driving to work or whatever, do a little quiz with yourself on drink recipes. Also write stuff down if it makes it easier. That’s how I started remembering things.

IMHO Quit your life and time is too important to waste any of it at SB! And this company has changed so much in the last few years, it’s not the fun loving third place anymore. It’s just here to chew you up and spit you out
But my tips are use urnex on everything that is hard to clean, it’s amazing, and disassemble pumps when you clean them, WM smells like death if you don’t.
