I feel bad because i went to three different Starbucks today. And each time they didn’t charge me, I’m assuming because of the markouts. I’ve never done this before. I dont plan on doing it again. Each time was just a coffee. And a sandwich and a coffee at one place. Will I get in trouble?

I’d only use your non working hours mark outs once per day. In my district they’ve already fired three partners for abusing the Mark outs. I’d let the baristas ringing you out know if you’ve already used it for the day and pay for it. Corporate has been cracking down on this in the past month and Id hate for you to get fired if you didn’t know the rule.

Mistakes happen. On more than one occasion, I've had a barista give me a markout instead of my discount (before we had marks outs off hours) by accident.
Theyre looking for patterns of abuse, not "i forgot to say i already had my mark out and it would hold up the line to void and rering it"
While 3 in one day might raise an eye brow, i think the worst you'd get is a reminder on the policy.
If this were an everyday thing, different story. Deep breath, youre fine, just make sure you state youve had a markout before you give them your numbers from now on

The markout rule is 1 free drink and 1 food item each day, so definitely say that you've already used your markout and need to pay! You should be okay and not in trouble if you start following the rule now, too many markouts will ping corporate radar and they might reach out to your sm.

Lol my store marks out drinks all the time and seven never been spoken to about it.
