Looking to move from Florida to Illinois, preferably northeastern Illinois, near Chicago but not necessarily *in* Chicago. Trying to figure out costs of living and whatnot. I'll be a shift supervisor before the end of the year and I'm looking to move by July 2021. And if anyone has any recommendations on location to move, I'd be grateful for those too

I live in the western suburbs (~one hour away from the city), and I make $16 as a 5-year shift supervisor.

I live in northeastern Illinois about an hour outside the city. I’m a barista and I make a little over $13/hr. Im not quite sure what shifts make here. Just keep in mind the cost if living in Illinois is really high with ridiculous taxes.
