Most likely it’s probably recoding the job code (coverage/key holder/non-coverage) usually this is done to keep within various budgets for different kinds of labour. I might do it for my team if we are ver on labour, but I have excess non-coverage hours for the week. Not taking away what a person gets paid, just changing how Starbucks keeps track of it—it’s the easiest way to not go over budget and not short partners on hours, or the store on coverage.

Does that make sense?

was it during CAT pay or June 19th when we got OT?

Don’t think so? It was like the 16th I also don’t remember when CAT pay started/ended so maybe?

Worst case scenario is your SM is editing punches to keep themself out of trouble. If you took your lunch late or stayed a minute past your scheduled time on that day this might be what they’re doing. I would look back at all your punches in the past few weeks and see if there’s a pattern. If that’s what your SM is doing then they’re committing wage theft and would be terminated.

Might be the case but I’ll double check with my manager before I hit acknowledge
