Given no direction, I would make with cold foam. But since it’s not a specific button anymore, I would clarify with the customer before making.

I would think you would make it the same as when it was on the menu a couple years ago. Shots over a scoop of ice, 2% milk to the ice line, and plain nonfat coldfoam?

It transitioned to cold foam a little before I was hired. Then, was phased out of the menu (last fall?).

Pretty sure an iced cappuccino has a hot foam and when they discontinued the cold foam cappuccino they said to ring up an iced latte with cold foam. Except then you also have to make sure there is no vanilla in the cold foam.

Iced cappuccino comes with steamed milk foam unless they specify they want cold foam.

Not anymore. Based on the BRM it should be cold foam. There’s something about adding steamed milk foam to the cold milk that causes a possible bacteria situation.

I’m not sure that’s the case. Because if you add the cold foam modifier to the iced capp it charges like $0.50 which means the drink didn’t get it in the first place

AFAIK, - it was discontinued as a menu item all though you can still order it. You don’t add the cold foam in POS, you just pour the shots, add a splash of milk and ice and then foam the cold foam in the pitcher and add it to the top.

it is discontinued and it can be ordered, but its not the same an an iced cappuccino given how iced capp has been on the menu before cold foam was even introduced to starbucks

Meh. I’m sick of them changing stuff over and over again

I know. I feel like, unless it’s a major major issue they should save them all up and make changes once a year or something, like a software release.
