For block scheduling aren’t we supposed to be working with the same group of people for all of our shits cuz my SM has me switching between two blocks (self.starbucksbaristas)

So to promote social distancing and to reduce the spread of COVID, Starbucks started to do a new schedule system. So instead of you working with different people each shift, the same group of people work together each shift, your block. For example; A, B, and C make a block, E, F and G make a block, so on and so forth.

My SM basically said “fuck block scheduling,” after several partners from the am block team kept calling out sick. No one was quarantined or tested, either. At this point I’m just over it

That’s shit because for SM who don’t do block scheduling or have people bounce between blocks are not trying to minimize the risk of the virus in their stores. Like I’m someone who bounces between blocks, if I get sick that leaves only one block to be working cuz the other two have to be quarantined
