It’s a distinctly Caucasian name. If a common name of another ethnicity was used, people would have a problem with it, and rightly so.

reverse racism doesn’t exist and people have been using names of other ethnicities for decades to make fun of those ethnicities for racist stereotypes: shanaynay, laquisha, ling-ling, etc. racism inherently affects people who have been systemically oppressed by, oh yeah, white people. you cannot be racist against white people, it’s not a thing.
the word you’re looking for would be prejudiced, but even so, the word karen refers to white women using their white privilege to shit all over people who they deem lower than them, whether that be people of color, retail workers, fast food workers, what have you. so no, it’s not racist.

Karen isn't about a particular ethnicity it's about whiny, entitled people who constantly try to push boundaries and demand managers when they don't get their way.
