i just thought of something do any of the older partners remember when they used to do partner appreciation week? i remember a few years ago when i started they would give the SMs x amount of money to do something for us throughout the week and corporate would send us goodies too. (self.starbucksbaristas)

like one year my SM at my 1st store got us all goodie bags and pizza then the next year we all voted to go kayaking for the afternoon. but after i left that store none of my other SMs did anything did the stop it or do my SMs not do anything?

There used to be a Partner Appreciation fund in the budget and my manager wold take the pcard to buy a bin full of snacks for us once a month. Ah, good times.

When I was an SM, we used to have those. But I also did some partner appreciation weeks myself (outside of Starbucks scheduled ones). Whenever I would get a bonus, I would spend half of it (or more) on my partners by doing visa gift cards.

Yeah it was. Not sure why they stopped. Some SMs still do those which is good
