hi all! so... here’s a fun story. there’s a partner who works at my store, whose husband works at another starbucks in our city. her husband tested positive for corona at said store, and then she was working at our store like a week ago and had ALL the symptoms of the virus. literally, like coughing, sneezing, chills u know the works. she got tested and is waiting on results, but she probably fucking has it. my biggest issue is not that i’m fucking exposed to it now, but that my divisional manager WONT SHUT OUR STORES DOWN. SHE WILL NOT SHUT OUR STORES DOWN DESPITE PARTNERS TESTING POSITIVE. isn’t it company policy right now for stores to close if someone tests positive? if that’s the case, how can i, as a partner, contact like a corporate HR help line or something? cause this is ridiculous and she needs to close our stores. she’s the same fucking district manager who won’t allow us to even MENTION masks. we’re not allowed to refuse service if they aren’t wearing masks. we aren’t allowed to ask them to wear masks. this is just such bullshit. i’m so fucking pissed. they act like they care and then pull this shit and it’s so obvious that NOBODY cares. i’m a child. i have a family. i’m a HUMAN. i am not just a money making machine and my district manager is treating us all like we are. if someone could help me out about who to contact and how to go about this i would really appreciate it. thanks!!

I dont know what state you're in or what the government there has decided to do but I would take it up further than corporate. Yeah, file something with the DM/RM but also call the local health authority. They should come in and shut it down. It's a matter of keeping the public safe at that point.
